Scope:

The transitioning from SUN Hardware and OS will enable the Cost Savings of $115,000 from the annual SUN Maintenance fee. The SUN equipment is several years old and may be soon reaching it's end-of-life for maintenance and support. The project will require the purchase of new Dell equipment and outside consulting services. Those totals should be available shortly after the initial kickoff meeting. Those cost are anticipated to be well below the 115K annual maintenance, which will will save in perpetuity after we complete this project.

The project will also look at server consolidation as well retiring or migrating some of the existing databases.
