Implement changes based on Fall 2010 admission business processes. Post Summer session to student's record in PeopleSoft Admissions when apply for Fall. This will allow Fall admits the opportunity to take summer session classes. Require student's applying to Enginnering and Journalism to select a second choice major.

Scope: 

Phase 1

  • Implement changes based on Fall 2010 admission business processes. Remove special exception as Fall 2009 closes Aug 14.
  • Require student's applying to Enginnering and Journalism to select a second choice major.

Phase 2

  • Change the interface to remove the self selecting admit type options of Freshman, Transfer, International. Remopve the exception field if Freshman is selected.
  • Coordinate with Degree Search application and ASU Online web site to modify URLs that push info to Admissions app.
  • Post SUMMER session to Admissions PeopleSoft when apply for FALL to allow student to register for Summer. Communicate with EPM, Housing, Fin Aid, Dashboards, My ASU, etc. on how this change impacts other applications and processes.
  • Allow students to apply degree seeking even if they have a Non-degree seeking app for the same semester regardless of the admission status.
