Summary: 

Version 1.1 of the Undergraduate Admissions Application accomplishes 2 specific items. One, it improves the user interface for the way major information is found and displayed and two, it moves the application to a consolidated web server.

Scope: 
  • Move application to tomcat complete for QA & PRD
  • Post a message to redirect any customers that may have bookmarked the old location and refer them to the new location
  • Have internal customers such as ASU Online and Degree Search update their site links to point to the apps new location
  • Make web service data - clean / readable to UG App
  • Initial application page:
    1. Add Spring 2010 term to allow aplicant to apply to
    2. Includes selection of application semester
    3. Label changed for term to Select the term you wish to begin your studies at ASU
    4. Only freshmen applying for Fall 2009 will be asked for an exception reason
  • Term/major page:
    1. Improve the Term & Major tab flow by changing the degree search results display
    2. Default to the semester selected on the initial page but allow change to other semesters except FTF to Fall 2009
    3. Label changed for term selection: Select the term you wish to begin your studies at ASU
    4. Changed the semester descriptions for all terms: term name followed by month notation
    5. Additional message added: Fall (August). Students who are admitted for the fall term are also able to start as degree-seeking students in the summer.
