Summary:

The ASU College of Teacher Education and Leadership (CTEL) has purchased the CampusTools Higher Ed (Tk20) system and wishes to integrate it with our current PeopleSoft Student Information System. Tk20 is intended to help the college collect data on student and college performance. Tk20 can be used to manage Signature Assignments, Field Placement Experiences and other teacher assessments. With this project we will provide ASU Single Sign-on to allow ASU students, faculty and staff to access the Tk20 server/application via ASU.

Scope:

Work with College of Ed / CTEL tech staff to update My Reports queries to be used with Tk20 system.
Develop Single-Sign on to allow ASU students to use asurite authentication to access the Tk20 application from a CTEL ASU page. Tk20 will then determine if the student has access to services. CTEL Tk20 administration will be responsible for maintaining student and instructor roles in the Tk20 system.

In Scope:

- Refine existing and create new My Reports queries
- automated data pull from PS data to Tk20 system using My Reports queries sent to Tk20.
- Single sign-on to allow asurite holders to access the Tk20 system via a ASU CTEL page.

Out of Scope:

- once on the Tk20 system all processing and data integration is the responsibility of CTEL staff and Tk20

All Milestones and Schedule:

Phase 1 - correct existing My Reports CTEL queries
07/02/2009 - revisit existing My Reports queries to all CTEL program to use TK20 for Summer students
07/24/2009 - complete changes to My Reports CTEL queries

9/14/2009 - SSO migratin to production. Waiting for CTEL to be ready to begin use.

12/01/2009 - planned complete automation of Tk20 My Reports queries and data send to Tk20

10/19/2009 ****Schedule change per Dr. Hurwitz - Single Sign-on delayed until start of Spring Term to allow college to prepare for SSO business changes and the addition of other campuses to Tk20 ********* Changes to Tk20 Queries will require project to be re-baselined.

12/01/2009 - Complete Requirements for Tk20 Data Pull Queries.
12/15/2009 - Updated Tk20 queries ready for CTEL review.
01/08/2010 - Automation of Tk20 Data Pull

January 2010 - single sign-on go-live
