This phase addresses the Student Experience, with minimal enhancements to Prospective Student experience, the Faculty & Staff Experience, and the Community Experience. Each of these audiences will be addressed in future releases. The foundation that will be created in this first phase will make the implementation of the other experiences fairly quick and simple.

  • Change homepage layout to target specific student populations
    • Clearly direct current ASU students to the students page
    • Clearly direct prospective students to the prospective student page
    • Create a better presence and access for prospective transfer students
  • Improve recruiting for nontraditional and online students
    • Changed link on prospective students page for online programs
    • Added keywords to degree search for online programs

2. (Release Date 4.24.08)

  • Display Hold and ToDo lists

3. (Release Date - May 2008):

  • Incorporate advising and orientation information into existing student page
  • Improve recruiting for nontraditional and online students
  • Redesign of ASUOnline for short-term use

4. (Release Date - July 2008):

  • Create a unified, consistent personalized experience
    • Merge students page, ASU Interactive, and My ASU (Google Personal Start Page)
    • Redesign the current student page to make more room for personal content and to better integrate with students.asu.edu
    • Name the merged experience My ASU
