Summary:

This project is to automate the assignment and residential data within the ISAAC (Door Access) system. The automation of this environment will include imports from PeopleSoft, Sun Card information, and Residential life data. The assignment into rooms will be automated releasing the Reslife staff from reassigning manually. The automation is designed off the business rules for the Residential life office.

This automation will make future automation for other areas possible with little impact and development.

Scope:

Export the residentail hall and wing information from the Residental Management System (RMS) into the ISAAC door access security system for assignment.

All Milestones and Schedule:

01-12-2009 - Kick Off meeting with HBE and UTO support for automation of Residental Life hall/wing information -- Completed

01-30-2009 - Design and schedule completed for Project. -- Completed

02-20-2009 - Test run of export processes. -- Completed

04-17-2009 - Implmenetation of process into production for the RMS export to ISAAC. -- In Progress; Working with TOPS on final process

06-17-2009 - Implementation of User data from PeopleSoft -- Dependent on IDWorks project

Deliverables:

Automated environment that takes Hall/Wing information from the Residential Life Management system (RMS) into the ISAAC (door access system) and assigns the rights automatically.

Risk & Threats:

2-17-2009 - milestones updated with new dates because of effort coordination issues. These have been resolved and the new dates should be accomplished by the new dates.

05-26-2009 - Delay in IDWorks project has caused a schedule delay with this project. The IDWorks project is providing the data necessary for the People Data from PeopleSoft. That project needs to go live before this one can be completed.

06-11-2009 - IDWorks project that this project is dependent on is delayed further. It's new schedule puts the production environemnt in place the week of June 29th. Once it is in place this project will be completed.
