Research Project: My files - University Provided Individual User Space Analysis

Quick View
Summary:

Personal file space for faculty, staff, and students to store their files is a key ingredient for use of several of the services currently offered to the ASU community, as well as future services.

An example of an existing service is the My Apps online application delivery environment.  The current personal file space requires the use of a client and additional support for use.  The web interface to the personal file space does not allow multiple file manipulation.

The current experience does not fulfill the needs of users for reliability and ease of use that the ASU community has come to expect from services offered by UTO.

This project will look at the current environment and determine the appropriate method to migrate personal file space to the new environment.
