Implement a scaleable process for collecting commencement and convocation RSVP information for all graduates. Store name of convocation, date, time, location, hooder information on MarchingOrders. Create a webservice for My ASU to retrieve the data and display on the Graduation tab.

Scope: 
  • Display a link on My ASU for eligible graduating students to RSVP for commencement and convocation(s).
  • Send students to MarchingOrders.com where student completes information for commencement and each convocation they will attend
  • Collect hooder information for Masters and PhD candidates
  • On day of convocation have bar-coded cards pre-printed with student information completed on the RSVP page
  • Bar coded card will facilitate the reading of the students name, the display of the students name on a projection screen and the photographer sending the grad photos to the correct address

09/30/09 - send data to MO, finalize all landing pages (will not have a webservice for Fall 2009)

12/14/2009 - RSVP site closed and link down
