Summary: 

MarchingOrder is a 3rd party vendor that works to collect graduating student information to be used in various ways:

1. Allow existing graduating students to RSVP for commencement.
2. Allow faculty, staff and continuing students to RSVP for a single ticket to commencement.
3. Announcing the student's name as they cross the stage to accept their diploma
4. Displaying the student's name on the arena display.
5. Giving the information to the photography company to send student the option to purchase graduation pictures.

Phase 1 (March 31 - April 18)
Allow graduate students to RSVP for a field access ticket and up to 6 guest tickets for commencement
Place To Dos on My ASU that allows secure access to MarchingOrder
Send email notification when the system becomes available.

Phase 2 (April 20)
Allow active faculty, staff and continuing students to request a single ticket to commencement
Display ads on My ASU using Narrowcasting
Send Faculty email notificaton when system becomes available.
Remove ads at a moments notice when tickets are exhausted.

Phase 3 (May 1 - May 8)
Ticket distribution on 4 campuses
Allow Sun Card scanner to read students ID and bring up ticket information on screen
Allow for disbursment agaent to confirm tickets were given to indiviudal

Phase 4 (pilot for W. P. Carey Master's Convoation and BIS Convocation)
Create a process on how the student’s data will be collected and sent to Marching Orders
Give student the option to update their personal information, such as name and address
Decide on authentication with MarchingOrder.com
Send email to students in convocation pilot
On day of convocation give students a card with bar code. The bar code is used to display students name on the arena big screen.
Card is handed to speaker to announce the students name.
Card is then given to the photographer.
