Scope:
  • Registered users can reserve equipment for use, anytime within X days.
  • Users can only reserve equipment X, Y times in Z days. Each equipment has a different X Y and Z.
  • Certain users (independent of user type) can break certain rules, such as scheduling in the past, or ignoring the X Y Z requirements for reserving equipment.
  • Equipment can only be reserved in certain time blocks. Each equipment has a minimum amount of billable time, as well as an all equipment blanket of increment time.
  • All reservations and releases are stored, as time released is still billed if released within X hours before the reservation time.
  • Lab managers (site Admins+) can modify the calendar.
  • The scheduling site should use the existing users, equipment, and accounts from the GWC Recharge Systems site.
  • Include the ability to track reservations including an instructor. When an instructor is required, they are notified and can accept or decline the reservation.
