Summary:

This is Phase on of this new process. Review and update Good/Bad Graduation Report for Graduation Automation. Use delivered PeopleSoft batch process to update students records with "good" degree checkout status. Process will include running a report for all applied graduates, running DARS audits for these students, then updating the students records in PeopleSoft.

Scope:

Using delivered PeopelSoft batch process and ASU developed reporting combine the two to create the Graduation Automation process. The Good/Bad report produces a list of students who applied to graduate and who's degree audits are complete (completed all graduation requirements). Using this report feed to batch process these student id's so they can have their degree posted w/out staff intervention.

All Milestones and Schedule:

06/20/09 - Develop Project Plan, Secure SQR testing environment
07/06/09 - Development of App Engine ready for testing
07/10/09 - Run test batch
07/14/09 - Sign off & move to Production - missed date, issues with testing
08/04/09 - Testing done & Functional sign off
08/05/09 - move to Production
08/06/09 - review Production Run for Summer Grad
08/12/09 - first run of new process
08/26/09 - review process, debrief (plan for v2, Ops and Care plan

Output report changes, - No Future Enrollment, past the grad term, Concurrent - Undergrad, Certificate - Grad, Service indicator S68, Acad Standing for grad term not = DISQ
PeopleSoft App Engine to take audit information and update Student Records in PeopleSoft
SQR testing environment established

Phase 1 - test environment (Shawn) and app engine (mod spec, c = complete, run date will be sys date) for adding row to program plan stack, list of changes that are needed (Kristy list), need ready to move to PRD 7/14, test environment ready 6/19, Development ready for testing 7/6 sign off by Monday 7/13, move to PRD 7/14

Updates and fixes cycle - if ASUSATST does not come back up on 8/3 this will delay testing and sign off!
