eAdvisor: Program Search v3.5

Summary: 

Program Search (also known as Degree Search) has several improvements slated for version 3.5, including:

  • Improve the keyword search functionality by finding similar words. For example, if you search on "computer" the results should also return results for "computing" and "computers".
  • Associate minors and certificates with majors. If searching for a Psychology bachelor’s degree also suggest a minor and/or certificate in Psychology if it is available.
  • Allow ASU students to run a "What If" graduation audit. This will give students interested in changing majors a way to view how their course work applies to the new major.
  • Modify the logic for how terms display in the Apply button. Exclude terms that have application deadlines in the past.
