eAdvisor: Prerequisite Review/Drop of Classes V2.0

Summary: 

In Version 1.0 a process was created to review student enrollment and drop students from pre-requisite classes they no longer met the requirement for. Version 2.0 of the project includes additional criteria such as milestones, GPA, plan requirements which students will be screen on. The audience is all undergraduate students for Fall 09. The project will be operationalized so that in future semesters UTO Operations will be responsible for the process.

  • Convert current criteria (check transcript classes, ASU classes, test credit, AP) from queries in MyReports to usable SQL in PeopleSoft
  • Add additional criteria to SQL
    1. milestone requirements (e.g. MAT and ENG placement)
    2. GPA requirements
    3. Plan requirements
    4. Student Group requirements
  • Test new criteria added
  • Expand the student population from Critical Tracking 08 to All undergraduate students
  • Create an option for a college to opt out
  • Create a dashboard to allow colleges to review students that will be dropped from course(s)
