All use different calendaring/registration systems. We need one place where all can create workshops, allow people to register and then track attendance.

estimate of 3000 workshops per year, tracking 30,000 attendees.

All Milestones and Schedule:

Identify registration systems that currently exist at ASU.

List requirements for the ideal system

Compare list of requirements to current systems.

Decision point:

  • Adopt one of the existing systems as is
  • Change one of the existing systems to better meet requirements
  • Look outside of ASU for system
  • Grow our own.
Deliverables:

One Registration system to rule them all! (sorry - got all hobbity there)

Determine and implement one system that will allow departments to create workshops and allow employees to register..

Risk & Threats:

End of June - system used to register faculty workshops ends.
End of calendar year - HR's pathlore system becomes unsupported.

UTO will need a place to create sessions and allow staff to register.
