Enhancements and improvements to the Course Enrollment Manager course request application. This application allows instructors and support staff to request Blackboard course creation from MyASU. Improvements will make the process easier and faster for requesters and for the Blackboard support staff.

Scope: 

Prevent unintentional duplication requests. When a request made for a course add a check to see if the course already exists or if a request has been made. If so, warn the user that the course has already been requested.

Request Training Course Title - Allow the requester of a training course to change the title of the course when they request it (currently the system generates one).

Request Course Name - Allow requester to request a special name for a course at the time the course is requested. During the request process display what the name of the course will be and ask the user if they want to change it, and if so have a place to enter that new name.

Make Error page/process friendlier. The current error process does not allow the user to clear or go back or makes fixes in any way. Need to clean this up and let the user know what to do next. Error also does not clear – user gets an error and closes browser and goes back in and the error is still there.

Adding sections to a course - add more explanation to what this process means. Users are obviously confused by this section and are making mistakes here that could be avoided.

Requesting Changes to an existing Course – display current course attributes when changes are requested.

Itunes and Sakai - Review/revise the instructions for adding itunes and Sakai to a course.

Organization Requests and Cancellations – when requesting an Organization change to send email to utobb@asu.edu to create a CRM case. Add a cancel option to create Organization process where there is not one currently. Currently, the only way to cancel is to pick edit, then you get a cancel button.

Class Search - Add instructor to the PS class search.

Auto-populate College Code, and Admin Comments on request.

On confirmation of request send email and open CRM tickets for WPCarey Blackboard support.

Mega-request component for Admin Requests to generate multiple course requests from an uploaded file.
