Quick View
Summary:

Blackboard has recommended that we upgrade to Service Pack 5 to resolve issues experienced by instructors and students.
These include:
• Firefox 3 – “Enter a valid file” error
• Moderated Discussion Board – Error when publishing a moderated post.
• Last name of “Null” – will no longer be a problem.
The Service Pack also provides enhancements and places ASU in an improved position for product support. Upon completion of this upgrade our Blackboard system will be at 8.0.442.0. This upgrade will require an outage scheduled during the break between spring and summer terms to avoid conflicts with instruction. We are currently at Service Pack 3. Service pack 5 includes Service Pack 4.
