Scope:

ASURite on Demand (AOD) Phase II is a rewrite that is being used to address the following concerns:

  1. Former students and Alumni are not able to easily obtain an ASURite ID with the current version of AOD
  2. Applications wish to use AOD to create an authenticated experience
  3. There are cases where a large number of individuals with minimal data and a high probability of duplicates require ASURITE ids.

This phase of the AOD rewrite focuses on:

  1. Reestablishing an affiliation for a former student/alumni if
they are found in PeopleSoft. This causes an ASURITE id to either be
    created or reactivated.
  2. Creating an affiliate id for someone
with minimal data provided without creating a duplicate in PeopleSoft.
This will allow users who want an id but who do not need to have it
attached to any academic records, or who do not have any previous
records at ASU, to get an id easily without causing duplicates in
    PeopleSoft.
  3. Establishing an affiliation for someone who is
an AOD Guest and who now has another link to the University, such as an
    applicant.
