ASU Web Devils Student newspaper would like to improve their web-site functionality and add more features. The site is moved to UTO Web Hosting at the end of 2007 and the new site will be implemented in Drupal Content Management System. The project involves training the Student Media staff in Drupal, helping them to come up with new design and layouts, and supporting the new system's feature development.

All Milestones and Schedule: 

May 15: Review of progress with Students on how much they could learn Drupal and move the design from AZCentral content management system to Drupal.

 

Update from 5/15/2008: Client: "Our original vision was to have the students recreate the site during the summer. However with budget cuts and no director, it's still up in the air."

 

Update from Aug 18: New Student Media Director is in place and would like to continue with the project. He reported that their student workers were working on Drupal version, attended several UTO Web Consulting open office hours for support and will be ready for launch within the week of Aug 18th.
 

Deliverables: 

A new website design in UTO's Drupal system.

Content archived in old AZ Republic system and new content to be created in Drupal after summer 2008.

All other changes asked in the Excel sheet "webdevils redesign project requirements and phases".

Resource share conflicts between CLAS Websites Redesign project and this project (Adrian Teo and his team)
