Summary: 

ASU has announced an Academic Reorganization that includes establishing the Herberger Institute of Design and the Arts; establishing the Mary Lou Fulton Institute and Graduate School of Education to focus on research and doctoral education programs; consolidating all teacher preparation programs across the university into the College of Teacher Education and Leadership and establishing a School of Geographical Sciences and Urban Planning within the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. This project will focus on creating, updating, and moving colleges/schools/departments/students impacted by this change in PeopleSoft.

Risk & Threats: 

a1. Timing of changes is a huge risk, volume of change to be done in PRD in a very short time frame, need time estimates from resources.
1. Changes to these underlying tables could impact operations. Timing of changes in Org Tree are critical as to not impact My ASU and Degree Search.
2. Changes made will impact administrative staff based on security roles.
3. Changes will potentially impact summer tuition assessment.
4. Could receive complaints from students that want to have their "old" college on their diplomas.
