SCOPE

The Arizona Department of Administration (ADOA) holds Open Enrollment annually for medical, dental, vision, supplemental life and short-term disability benefits. ASU has been advised that this year¿s Open Enrollment will run Aug 10-31 for an effective date of Oct 1, 2009. Potential Changes: Configuration Changes to eBenefits, Base Benefits and Ben Admin; translate table and interface revisions; decommission and/or revision of previously implemented customizations and reports; new dev of customizations and/or reports, etc. The Changes will be finalized by ADOA by 7/3/2009.

Benefits is requesting the ability to generate a confirmation statement of benefits elections for open enrollment (preferably by employee after submission, but if not in a batch when OE is finalized).  Currently, the employee is required to print their benefits elections prior to clicking the SUBMIT button, often resulting in failure to complete the submission process.  The implementation of confirmation will increase successful submissions of benefit enrollments and reduce the number of post open enrollment appeals.
