Move My Major Map prototype into production for Sun Devil Tracking students to use. The web application will inform students of what critical courses, GPAs and milestones need to be completed to be successful in the major. Students will have the option to see how the courses they have taken apply to other majors if interested in changing majors. Advisors will be able to view the same information as students. Additional notes will be added to give students complete information.

Notes will be stored in Plan Extension data in PeopleSoft. A modification to AD0042 is required in order for this to be completed. There is a freeze to PRD until mid Oct. There is potential risk that we will not meet deadlines if environments are not available as planned in the tools upgrade schedule. There is also potential risk if we do not have a PeopleSoft developer to complete the work.

Residency Calculation v1.0

Create a component that both undergraduate and graduate admissions applications can use to calculate residency. The component uses inputs from the invoking application to determine if the student is a resident or needs further manual review. A new web application will be created so staff can complete and display what the student's residency would be based on how the questions were answered.

Common Computing Image Expansion

Summary: 

As the common image project gains exposure more departments at ASU are becoming interested in using the image and the services provided by the image development and deployment team. While the number of licenses and image staff has not grown, the requests for the service has greatly expanded and the university does not currently adhere to hardware standards.

Goal of the project: The goal of this project is to develop a sound plan that will allow any ASU entity to use the image. The plan will have to include the expansion of current software licenses; imaging hardware; a set of hardware standards; and a process to partner with the various university technical teams to share resources during the development and deployment.
