Name change: From UTO Labs to ASU Labs - Fri, 10/23/09

UTO Labs is growing up. It is being expanded to encompass projects from many different departments other than UTO. This name change is to reflect this significant change.

The http://utolabs.asu.edu URL is to be changed to http://labs.asu.edu. The new URL and redirect will occur on Friday Oct. 30th. Wording changes have begun.

Tina Thorstenson - Fri, 10/23/09

Tina has been added to AVP CCK field of the project form. She has also been added to all Views that reveal the content of UTO Labs.

Review tab business process - Fri, 10/23/09

A Review business process has been added as a tab to UTO Labs. A person with the Review role can begin the process of requesting Review of a project. ARB and code request are now tracked. Only people with the PMO, PMO Review, and Review role will be able to see and change information.

XML - Fri, 10/23/09

A XML feed has been added to UTO Labs of Sponsored projects.

Problem with updating Projects - Mon, 07/27/09

Project's could not be updated in UTOLabs. The problem has be identified with the new required Department field. It has stopped pre-existing projects from being saved with the new field. This restraint has been removed by Leema's request. The cause is now under investigation to see why this caused a problem.

Department field and sentence added. - Thu, 07/23/09

The choice of selecting Department is now available for all Lab projects. A description for the Lead Customer view has been added, it states "Please select the sponsor of the project first, and then select the lead customer by name."

PM Edit added to menu

The PM Edit view has been added to the Project Lab menu:

This organized view by PM is one page to update "Current Milestone" and "Stage" for listed projects.

PM and Stage View Correction

Since "More Views" tab was added, these two views became altered because they were now open to the public. The "concept of one" was applied to the views, but problems were found in doing so with the PM and the Stage views. Separate views were created for the "More Views" tab to resolve this problem. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused with the Stage and PM views. They are now set back to their original configuration.
