University Print Management Using Netaphor

Netaphor is a software product that will enable ASU and Canon to improve the management of the ASU fleet of printers across the university using the software to track and scan printer hardware. The capabilities will allow for a strategic plan to have sustainable document management by capturing and managing the input/output devices.
With enhanced data collection the ASU/Canon team can further reduce the energy consumption of print devices, improving sustainability practices.

The urgency of this installation is to fulfill the need to produce information for the sustainability initiative for reducing print and publications and enhancing sustainability at ASU.
Now that school is in session the volume of transactions is at a peak and the data gathering analysis will ensure a proper sizing of devices, number of devices, and a reduction of carbon neutrality by a reduction of the number of devices and the encouragement of a reduction of printing for paper waste and energy savings.

Update CRM Customer Feedback Survey

Currently, the CRM marketing dialog tool is used to distribute CRM close case and service order notification to customers with a survey link. The marketing dialog tool is used to produce the survey and capture survey results which are reported via the CRM Support Dashboard. Due to functional limitions of the marketing dialog tool, survey data is inconsistent and unreliable.

This project will transition away from CRM's On-line Marketing tool, to a standard PeopleSoft application. During the transition, we will incorporate a small set of enhancements to improve the adoption rate of the survey, especially for W. P. Carey and the Office of Human Resources.

The University Technology Office has acquired desktop and operations technical support staff for University Student Initiatives. To better serve UTO and USI and to minimize support costs, consolidation of USI servers is needed.

Since all of the USI servers are already in the UTO data center, the project entails moving all USI servers to UTO servers and/or decommissioning no longer needed servers. Collaboration between UTO Ops and USI Web Admins & DBAs will ensure the web, database and java servers maintain functionality and support. USI file servers will be moved into CIFS space, by CC USI Deskside Support. Other specific application servers will be addressed as needed, with the necessary parties involved.
