| New Concepts in Course Enrollment Management Reporting | This project will focus on creating a report to facilitate scheduling classes and reserving seats in those classes. It will differ from other course enrollment management tools because it will capture the major(s) requiring a specified course and the number of students who have not yet completed the course, making it easy to identify which courses need to be reserved for students in specific majors. The goal is to create a query in My Reports that lists courses, which major requires a course, how many students in the plans that require the courses and how many students have not yet completed the course. This report will use the newly created list of required courses for each major that is maintained by the Provost’s Office. A basic report will be created and used to solicit feedback from key individuals who are responsible for predicting how many seats will be needed by their students for courses in upcoming terms. | On track | December 18, 2009 |
| Nursing Student Advancement | The Nursing Student Advancement application will replace a paper-based process which facilitates the student advancement process. Each student will be able to initiate this process themselves via the web application, verify their student information (bio/demo, coursework, immunizations, etc.) and supply other required information. It will also give students a roadmap of actions to take and when to ensure they are the most competitive to advance. The web site will ensure timely processing of applications with fewer errors than the current paper-based process. The web site will be used by Nursing staff to select students that will advance, and print out letters to inform the students of the College decisions. | On track | September 17, 2010 |
