Implement profiles in EDNA

this project is in response to the IT Data Access and Security Control Audit. Instead of linking services in EDNA to every type of affiliation, we will create profiles and services will be attach to a profile. We will map all the affiliation types to a profile in EDNA.

InfoEd - Research Administration System - PILOT

ASU is seeking a system that facilitates and, to the extent possible, automates the full life cycle of research administration. Moreover, this system should be customizable without requiring extensive programming or code modification by the UTO. It should also be a fully integrated software and architecture package that minimizes the number of vendors and separate systems.

Install U.direct 3rd Party Software

Install 3rd party Java software called U.direct to the Tomcat web servers. The U.direct software is an update to a beta version of the software currently being used in the eAdvisor On/Off Track critical evaluations. The software provides 2 key functions, (1) the ability to mark requirements as critical or preferred; (2) the ability to sequence requirements into a specific track term in which the requirement needs to be completed.

Instructor Edit/Selection

Utilize delivered PeopleSoft functionality and new modifications to allow classes to be set-up so that students can select from a list of instructors associated with the class. Modify Faculty Class rosters to only show instructors their own students and provide a staff roster to identify all students and all instructors. Modify other areas where these classes display, as well as the Instructor Funding application.
