Faculty Productivity - Grading Improvements V 2.0

This project has been released to production. The only remaining item is to create an Ops and Care plan for future support needs.

Version 2.0 will focus on improving grading processes for faculty who use University Testing Services to score their quizzes and tests. The goal is to create a process through which instructors can retrieve their graded test results from University Testing Services electronically. A web interface will be created for University Testing Services staff to upload test result files to an online repository, eliminating the need to print the test results or save them to a cd-rom or floppy disk.

Financial Aid Help Center

This is a three month project to improve the Financial Aid experience for all customers. The ASU Help Center will answer all phone calls 24/7 from each campus. The Help Center will have to increase staffing which will be a dedicated team that will include a lead that will be the direct contact to ASU. Use of Google chat with a financial aid expert will be implemented. Video podcasting on financial aid issues including FASFA will be developed.

Financial Audit: Payroll Process Improvement - Time and Leave Reporting Performance Improvement

This project is to mitigate a potential audit point by ensuring all time is approved. In addition, it is intended to improve the preformance of time reporting (time administration). All unapproved time needs to be identified and corrected prior to archiving the tables.

FY2009 Financial Audit Support

This project encompasses enhancements to capping the Min and Max of Salary Ranges for Promotions, Ad-Hoc Salary Changes and eHire process.

Prevent system entry of salaries that are below or above salary range. This is a top priority as a compliance issue to an audit finding. MSS Ad-Hoc Salary Adjustment and eHire application need to prevent entry of an annual salary that is less than the grade minimum or more than the grade maximum.
